Doc McStuffins has become the fastest-selling new property at the Disney Store for 2012.
Toys and products based on the animated pre-school TV show include talking plush, a Lambie Mini Bean Bag and Doctor's Bag Set. Disney says extra stock had to be produced to meet Christmas demand.
The TV show has been watched by 3.5 million viewers in eight weeks since launch and is the number one show on Disney Junior UK.
A second season has been green-lit and will be produced by twice Oscar-nominated studio Brown Bag Films.
Doc McStuffins follows the story of Doc, a young girl who can talk to toys to make them better.
Boel Ferguson, VP and GM for Disney Channels and Disney Online in the UK and Ireland, said: "The success of Doc McStuffins both here and the US is testament to the fantastic storytelling and sensitive approach taken to highlighting what can be a daunting experience for our younger viewers when they visit the doctor.
"We hope that as parents and their children watch the show together, it opens up family dialogue about the importance of good health and compassion.
"Doc is an aspirational character and a unique female role model for our younger viewers, giving an insight into what is a fascinating and fulfilling career endeavour."
