Everlight,Delta showcasing technologies at LED Lighting Taiwan 2012 Siu Han,Taipei;Jackie Chang,DIGITIMES[Tuesday 19 June 2012]The LED Lighting Taiwan 2012 is currently being held at Nangang Exhibition Hall from June 19-21.There are 250 participating firms from the supply chain in Taiwan and abroad and close to 800 booths.Firms such as Nichia,Cree,Osram,Everlight,Seoul Semiconductor,Lite-On,Delta,Edison Opto,Epister,Formosa Epitaxy,Tekcore and Neo-Neon are all showcasing latest products and technologies.
Taiwan-based LED firms such as Everlight and Delta are also showcasing own-brand products such as lighting fixtures and chip-on-board(COB)packaging technology.
Lextar,the LED subsidiary of AU Optronics(AUO),are displaying new products such as panel lights with adjustable features,PAR and tube lights.The firm is also showcasing smart lighting systems that allow users to control through wireless Bluetooth.
According to statistics,the LED Lighting Taiwan 2012 has 201 domestic participating firms using 631 booths and 52 international firms using 166 booths.
According to the organizer,Photonics Industry and Technology Development Association(PIDA),buyers from the US,Germany,Japan,South Korea,Singapore,India,Turkey,Belarus,and Thailand have been invited to join the event.
