Because of the summer vacation, the Romanian seamless pipe market transaction fell to the low level.
Although the Romanian suppliers managed to keep the price flat with one month ago, the actual cost increased by US$24~US$26/ton due to the fluctuation of the currency.
Due to the local weak economy, it is estimated that the consumption would remain low. Probably from September, the export and domestic demand would begin to rebound.
Currently, the domestic price of seamless pipes with OD 3"-10" as per ASTM or EN standard were quoted at US$1, 161~US$1,188/ton without VAT of 24%.
