CISA Announced That in Mid-September The Average Aggregate Daily Steel Output of Large

The China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) has announced that in mid-September (Sept. 11-20) this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China totaled 1.7795 million mt, up 0.97 percent compared to early September (Sept. 1-10). Meanwhile, the average aggregate daily crude steel production of all steelmakers in China in mid September was estimated at 2.1435 million mt, indicating an increase of 0.66 percent compared with early September.

Meanwhile, as of September 20 this year, inventory of the main finished steel products in the major steel markets in China totaled 13.22 million mt, up 625,700 mt as compared to the figure recorded on September 10.

According to the CISA's previous figures, in early September this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China had amounted to 1.7625 million mt, up 1.29 percent compared to late August (August 21-30). In early September, the average aggregate daily crude steel production of all steelmakers in China was estimated at 2.1294 million mt, indicating an increase of 0.48 percent compared with late August.
