Comercializadora Almed in Caracas has entered into an agreement to distribute BioElectronics' (BIEL) healing and pain products in Venezuela.
The products for distribution include ActiPatch Pain Relief Therapy, an over-the-counter treatment of back pain and other musculoskeletal complaints, and RecoveryRx Postoperative and Wound Care Recovery for chronic and post-operative wound care.
The devices are expected to provide labor free, 24-hour therapy to reduce pain, inflammation, and to accelerate healing.
BioElectronics sales manager Erin Sanders said, "With a population of more than 30 million people, Venezuela is a major addition to our South American market."
Comercializadora Almed managing director Jose Alberti said, "We are delighted to add these excellent pain devices to our products."
Comercializadora distributes surgical products, such as sutures, wound drainage, staplers, and endosurgery for companies such as Johnson & Johnson.
