Tetra Pak has introduced a new version of its PlantMaster automation solution, allowing manufacturers to program their entire plant via a single data management system.
The upgrade includes the Tetra Pak PlantMaster Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Suite, a new software programme designed specifically for the food and beverage industry.
It offers single set of tools, which incorporate all operations ranging from incoming raw materials to finished and palletised products.
Featuring user-friendly interface, the new software is said to streamline data collection and facilitate accurate data analysis.
Manufacturers accommodate equipment from different suppliers in one plant by using separate information systems.
The new software program enables manufacturers to have complete control on the facility through one program.
According to Tetra Pak, the new PlantMaster is available as an upgrade to existing services or as a new installation.
The company will showcase the new software program at the Gulfood Manufacturing 2016 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Tetra Pak offers a range of processing and packaging technologies, which can be used for a broad array of products ranging from ice cream and cheese to fruit, vegetables and pet food.
The company produces complete systems for processing, packaging and distribution of products.
