Finland-based packaging company Huhtamaki has designed new lightweight packaging food containers called ‘Taste’.
Available in kraft brown, the new range is suitable for hot and chilled foods and is offered in small, medium and large sizes.
The boxes have been designed for different food products such as sandwiches, wraps, salads, sushi and pizza, and are said to be ideal for outlets that offer comprehensive menu for customers.
Claimed to be manufactured from paperboard with a PET lining, the boxes can be produced with or without a window and vents.
The company also designed Taste pizza boxes in quarter, half and full sizes, while these are also made from paperboard with a PET lining.
The packaging has been designed in such a way that the product inside remains hot for longer period without making the item uncomfortable to hold
Greaseproof lining will be available for fluted insulation paperboard takeaway packs that are suitable for hot sandwiches.
In addition, the handheld pouches are suitable for wraps, and also can be customized to feature a company's branding such as a slogan, logo or corporate message.
