Menz Holz Filed a Voluntary Application for Institution of Insolvency Proceedings

The garden- and thermally-modified timber producer Menz Holz filed a voluntary application for institution of insolvency proceedings on 6 July at the Fulda district court in Germany. The court appointed lawyer Dr. Jan Markus Plathner from the law as the provisional administrator. The reason for the insolvency is so far considered to have been the sharp decline in turnover for garden-wood products on the main sales markets in Germany, France, the Netherlands and Belgium in the second quarter of 2012.
