Finnish firm Valmet has opened four performance centers for energy, pulp, paper and board and tissue customers.
Valmet has also launched a new industrial internet offering and signed a partnership agreement with software and services firm Tieto.
To offer industrial internet offering to its customers, Valmet is building an Industrial Internet solution ecosystem that brings several industry players together.
The four performance centers will serve as the customer's channel to all Valmet Industrial Internet applications and services.
By contacting the centers, customers will get real-time support from Valmet experts and remotely monitor their processes.
The centers offer data discovery and big data analysis services depending on agreed targets.

Industrial internet enabled services include online monitoring, predictive diagnostics and data analysis in improving mill and plant efficiency and to help in planning right-timed maintenance and to prevent unplanned shutdowns.
