CJ Foods, a South Korean producer of frozen foods in South Korea, has announced the launch of CJ Bibigo Fully Cooked Whole Grain Potstickers.
The company noted that the new product offers a healthy twist on classic Asian potstickers, and are made with 17g of whole grains and 4g of fiber.
CJ Bibigo senior brand manager Elliot Chung said the company has created CJ Bibigo Whole Grain Potstickers to offer a healthier alternative to the traditional potsticker.
"Packed with 17 grams of whole grains, and featuring a thinner wrapper and savory fillings, the BBQ Flavored Chicken and Chicken & Vegetable Potsticker varieties are a great addition to our existing frozen line," Chung added.
CJ Bibigo Whole Grain Potstickers will be available for a suggested retail price of $4.49/13oz. They can be boiled, pan-fried, or microwaved. As with all Bibigo products, the potstickers contain no MSG, preservatives or Trans-fat.
They come in two varieties - BBQ Flavored Chicken and Chicken & Vegetable. The Whole Grain Potstickers will be available beginning Aug. 2012 in Fresh & Easy stores on the West Coast, as well as in traditional grocery and national specialty stores nationwide later this year.
