Fast-casual Mexican chain Taco Cabana has introduced Steak Asadero tacos and dessert Flan in the US.
Steak Asadero tacos, with origins from the state of Chihuahua, a region in northwest Mexico, feature the savory flavors of Asadero cheese, while Flan - a Mexican dessert, offers a sweet, classic taste.
The new Steak Asadero tacos are prepared on a six-inch flour tortilla, then filled with marinated diced sirloin steak and grilled onions. Asadero cheese is then sprinkled to create a buttery taste.
Flan is a popular chilled Mexican dessert made with sweetened egg custard and finished with a caramel sauce on top.
Steak Asadero will be available now through 24 September 2012. Flan will be joining Sopapillas on the company's dessert menu.
