Grain Surfboards Teams Up with Patagonia Cardiff York, ME (August 28, 2013) – Grain Surfboards recently announced a collaborative arrangement with Patagonia Surf for a 4-day class to be taught behind Patagonia's location in Cardiff, CA.
From Maine to Californi
Two instructors from Grains headquarters in Maine will be traveling out West to teach the class. In addition, pro surfer Keith Malloy will be joining the class and will build his own board alongside the students.
Since Grain Surfboards' successful Kickstarter project in the spring, they have been working on a plan for a new West Coast mobile classroom to teach the process of building wooden surfboards.
Looking for Like Minds
Grain Surfboards is currently focused on joining forces with other like-minded businesses and individuals to bring the board building experience to destinations up and down the West Coast.
The class begins Friday, October 18 and runs through Monday, October 21. Each student will build his or her own board to take home at the end of the class.
