The International LIMA Will Sponsor Brand Licensing Hall in China

The International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association (LIMA) will sponsor Brand Licensing Hall, mainland China’s most influential and authoritative licensing event and the largest licensing exposition in Asia.

Held concurrently with China Toy Expo and China Kids Expo, the unique combination of the three events is expected to attract nearly 70,000 visitors, providing buyers with a wide range of sourcing opportunities in licensing, toys, and baby products.

Organized by the China Toy & Juvenile Products Association (CTJPA), the show will take place at the Shanghai New International Expo Center October 15-17, 2013.

To accommodate the larger crowds, this year’s Brand Licensing Hall will expand its exhibition space to support the show’s 500 booths, of which more than 80 percent will be international exhibitors and brands.

“As it continues to grow every year in size and prestige, Brand Licensing Hall has become widely recognized as one of the most effective way to understand the licensing market, promote brands, and expand the licensing business in China and Asia,” said LIMA President Charles Riotto.

“With thousands of consumer goods manufacturers, licensees, and retailers, the show provides a significant opportunity for Western companies and brands to gain access to decision-makers and make important inroads in the expansive Asian marketplace, especially China.”

“Brand Licensing Hall builds a unique platform for international licensors to expand their licensing business in China and Asia,” said May Liang, Executive Vice President. “Licensors will meet reliable Chinese licensees from diverse industries, such as apparel, food and beverage, gifts and novelties, household items, stationery, toys, baby articles, etc. to expand the Chinese market.”

The event will feature more than 600 of the world’s most popular licensing brands from the U.S., U.K., Belgium, Netherlands, Russia, Japan, and Korea as well as favorites from mainland China.
