Beatson Clark has secured up to £1.7m from the Regional Growth Fund (RGF) to install a bottle forming machine and a bulk palletizer for packing glass products at its Rotherham plant in the UK.
According to the UK-based company, this is part of a planned £12m investment which will include a larger capacity furnace.
Beatson Clark sales and marketing director Lynn Sidebottom said the funding will enable the company to strengthen the service it provides to the pharmaceutical sector.
"It will facilitate an expansion of our activities in the growing brewery sector and help to secure jobs for the future," Sidebottom added.
Glass manufacturer Beatson Clark hopes to complete the investment program by March 2015.
A total of £50m has been allocated to businesses and organizations in Yorkshire from the fourth round of RGF.
