MicommsPR, broadcast and licensing space PR specialist, has acquired marketing and events team CloudTen Events.
Micomms was established in 2007 and has accumulated various clients since, including Sega Europe’s Sonic the Hedgehog, JCB Kids and Rocket Licensing’s Annoying Orange.
Meanwhile, CloudTen – launched in 2009 – has managed successful events at high profile shopping centres across the UK, including Lakeside in Thurrock and The Trafford Centre in Manchester.
The new deal sees both businesses combine experience and expertise under the direction of MicommsPR founder and MD Kirsty Barr.
PR consultant and CloudTen founder Pippa Witcher will assume the position of senior account director, leading the events business and reporting to Barr.
“It’s exciting times as we join together with CloudTen Events to further expand and enhance our business proposition," said Barr.
“CloudTen has gained a fantastic reputation for delivering impactful campaigns, and having worked closely with Pippa and her team for some time now, it is clear we share the same commitment and dedication to our client relationships and getting results.
“This marriage of minds is set to make us an even more powerful driving force in the retail, licensing and broadcast industries.”
