US-based Millstone Medical Outsourcing has purchased Epson ColorWorks C7500G inkjet label printer to produce color and black and white packaging labels.
The company will distribute these color and black and white packaging labels to the orthopedic and spine customers.
Following purchase of the printer, Millstone Medical worked with technology firm enLabel Global Services to make it passed FDA validation tests.
ColorWorks provides high speed through multiple full-color labels with variable data up to 11.8" per second.
With the help of PrecisionCore inkjet technology, the printer delivers precise barcodes and ultra sharp text.
ColorWorks solutions, which meet high mix label requirements, can quickly customize label size and information.
Millstone Medical Outsourcing program manager Michael Morrissette said: "Our customers demand durable, high-quality label and packaging solutions with sometimes very specific details such as barcodes, graphics and meticulous logos - expectations that laser printers, and even legacy two-step inkjet color printing solutions, just couldn't meet."

Millstone Medical Outsourcing provides packaging and distribution services, including advanced inspection and validation of medical and clean room device packaging and re-packaging.
