DESMI Pumping Has Been Awarded an Exclusive Global Licence Agreement for The Marketing

DESMI Pumping Technology A/S has been awarded an exclusive global licence agreement for the marketing, sales and manufacturing of DESMI Ocean Guard A/S’s ballast water treatment systems. This agreement is an extension of an existing agreement between the two companies covering sales and marketing activities. “DESMI was the natural choice when selecting a manufacturer of our ballast water treatment systems. For more than half a century DESMI has manufactured and sold pumps and systems to the marine segment all over the world, and with factories producing more than 13 000 pumps per year in Denmark and China, DESMI has the resources to meet the demand for ballast water treatment systems around the world, ” said Rasmus Folsø, CEO of DESMI Ocean Guard A/S. “In this business it is not enough to have a good product. Global sales and technical support functions are a must, and large production facilities with well established procurement and quality control procedures are of paramount importance as well, ” added Folsø.
