German sports car manufacturer Porsche has unveiled the new Cayenne Turbo S sports utility vehicle (SUV), which is claimed to be the most powerful in the carmaker's SUV model range.
The new SUV will be powered by a new 4.8-litre V8 engine that generates an output of 550hp and a torque of about 749Nm.
Porsche claims that the Turbo S will accelerate from 0-100km/h in 4.5 seconds while achieving a top speed of 283km/h.
Features of the new SUV include Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus), and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) that are expected to offer enhanced handling.
The new Sports Chrono package offered with the new model includes an analog and digital timer on its console that shows all information about driving time and lap distance.
The Cayenne Turbo S expected to go on sale in Germany in February 2013.
