Aerosol packaging firm Lindal Group has introduced new FlipClassic, which is an insert-less actuator with an integrated cap.
The new solution, which will serve as an alternative to twist-lock actuators, can be used by regional brands and contract fillers in market sectors such as the personal care market.
FlipClassic is a 35mm diameter actuator equipped on the mounting cup, and is suitable for use in a range of aluminum cans.
The advanced design of the FlipClassic helps to solve the common problem of missing caps, specifically in the travel pack product sector.
FlipClassic can be handled with one hand, making it suitable for use on tube-based personal care products such as shampoos.
The company is also engaged in the development of cap-integrated actuator for PET containers.
Lindal also produces Sunny twist-lock and overcap-free actuator, which can be used by manufacturers of deodorants and antiperspirants, sun protection and self-tanning products,
In March, Lindal announced that it is developing a new 100,000 ft² production facility in Columbus, Indiana, US.
The company purchased 15 acres of land to build the expandable facility, which forms part of its overall $20m investment in the US market.
Expected to complete by the end of 2017, the expandable facility will allow Lindal to serve more customers in the US market.
Managed by Hervé Bodet, the center includes five departments such as development and engineering, central laboratory, technical and market watch, tool room and industrialization department.
