Gaby Budai-Corfield joins as Lorna Bennett leaves to pursue a career in ceramics.
Golden Bear has appointed Gaby Budai-Corfield as its new international sales manager.
Budai-Corfield will now be responsible for all areas of the firm's international sales, both in Europe and further afield alongside a number of key UK accounts.
She joined the team in mid-July, bringing with her 11 years of sales experience, including three years with Mookie, working at an international level.
Budai-Corfield takes over the position from Lorna Bennett who now leaves the firm to pursue her own business in the ceramic industry.
"The move to Golden Bear will open new challenges for me in my career and I look forward to meeting them head on,” said Burdai-Corfield.
"The company is extremely well respected and has a wealth of famous properties in its portfolio, many of which have great potential in the international arena. I am therefore delighted to be given the opportunity to be part of the company’s development in that area.”
Barry Hughes, Golden Bear’s commercial director, has expressed his delight in welcoming Budai-Corfield to the team.
"With her many years of toy industry experience, she will be a valuable asset to our international business; an area that is becoming increasingly important thanks to our prestigious vehicle licenses with the likes of BMW, Mini and Volkswagen, as well as entertainment favourites such as In The Night Garden and Henry Huglemonster," he said.
"We are also very sad to see Lorna leaving, as she has been a valued member of the team and we wish her well in her new venture.”
