Ice Cream Products Have Been Recalled by Cass-Clay Creamery Due to Undeclared Ingredients

North Dakota-based Cass-Clay Creamery is voluntarily recalling certain ice cream products as the products may contain allergens that are not declared on the label.

The company is recalling the following products as they contain undeclared Brazil nuts - Maple Nut Ice Cream, 1 gallon (3.78L) and bearing UPC code 70422-03404; Premium Light Maple Nut Ice Cream, 1 gallon (3.78L) and bearing UPC code 70422-23404; and Hornbacher's Maple Nut Ice Cream, half-gallon (1.89L) and bearing UPC code 41130-21666.

The company is also recalling the following product as it may contain peanut oil and soy lecithin which are not declared on the labeling - Premium Light Double Chocolate Fudge Ice Cream, half-gallon (1.89L), bearing UPC code 70422-2406.

Products with all date codes bearing plant number 38-25 are being recalled.The recalled products were distributed in Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

Cass-Clay Creamery said that till date, there have been no reported illnesses associated with c. Consumers have been advised to return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund.
