Global food supplier Huegli has installed a new gantry palletizer from Linkx at its plant in Redditch, UK. The palletizer has a modular design and handles outers of a range of powdered food products.
The compact machine has a footprint of just 1,850 x 2,350mm and can handle both Euro and Chep pallets. Its basic version has been designed for loading and unloading with a simple pallet truck.
According to Linkx, the machine operates at up to 15 movements per minute. In order to ensure that it delivers better results over a wide range of product sizes, it incorporates facilities for automatic pallet pattern calculation and set up with manual adjustment.
Additional options of the palletizer include conveyors, layer pad and pallet dispensers and facilities for automatic stretch wrapping.
