Hexbug has expanded its range of robotic sea creatures with three new additions.
Robotic toy manufacturer Hexbug is launching new additions to its AquaBot range.
The latest additions include the Aquabot Jellyfish, Seahorse and 3.0 Remote controlled Angelfish.
A new addition to the firm’s aquatic creature, the Aquabot Jellyfish is available in five bright colours and propels its bell-shaped body into the bottom of the tank and floats back up, using its surface sensor detect then it’s at the top of the tank.
Available in five colours, with vibrant markings, the AquaBot Seahorse is designed to swim at the top of the tank and down to the bottom.
With five colours and patterns to collect, this robotic fish can swim autonomously or be controlled with a remote, allowing the user to navigate the creature underwater.
All three of the products in the new AquaBot range have an inner LED glow that brings the robots to life. In addition, they have an on and off sensor that activates in water and a hi-tech sensor that allows you to tap the tank to re-awaken the AquaBot.
The Hexbug AquaBot Jellyfish and the Hexbug AquaBot Seahorse are also available with a bowl, retailing from £19.99.
Heather Corbett, UK and Ireland’s marketing manager at Innovation First, creator of the Hexbug product range commented: “One in seven households now own a Hexbug toy and the AquaBot range is one of our most popular and best selling ranges so we are delighted to be extending the range to feature sea life creatures, in addition to fish.”
The products will appear on shelves and online this month, with further extensions to the line due later in the year.
The new products retail from £9.99 and are available at www.hexbug.com, Smyths, Toys R Us, The Entertainer, Red 5, and Amazon.
The AquaBot Jellyfish with bowl and the AquaBot Seahorse with bowl are available at Argos for £19.99.
