EMS provider Lite-On Technology has reported consolidated revenues of NT$20.436 billion (US$644 million) for December, the highest monthly level since August 2014 with growth of 2.25% on month and 1.26% on year.
Revenues from opto-electronics product lines including LED devices, LED lighting products and CCMs (compact camera modules) accounted for 27% of the consolidated revenues and increased 5% on year. Those from IT product lines including power supplies used in cloud computing servers, mobile terminal devices and game consoles as well as PC peripherals and server chassis accounted for 49% and grew by 8%; and those from SSD (solid-state drives) and optical disc drives took up 15% and slipped by 28%, Lite-On said.
Lite-On posted consolidated revenues of NT$60.111 billion for fourth-quarter 2014, dipping 0.32% sequntially but rising 1.49% on year. Consolidated revenues for 2014 reached NT$230.656 billion, increasing 8.38% on year.
