Paddy Power has said the LeapPad 2 is the “clear favourite” to become the UK’s top selling toy this Christmas.
The popular Irish bookmaker has placed the kids iPad-style device as odds-on favourite at 1/4.
For punters looking for a better return, the fast-selling Furby could be worth a flutter at 6/1, while the LeapPad 2’s rival kids tablet, the InnoTab2 from VTech, stands at an attractive 10/1.
Paddy Power put together the odds with the help of Smyths UK. The retailer will confirm this year’s top-selling Christmas toy based on its own sales.
Speaking to ToyNews, Paddy Power’s media relations manager Féilim Mac An Iomaire, said: “Following the rip-roaring success of its predecessor, the LeapPad 2 is our clear favourite to top the majority of Santa’s lists this year.
