In October this year, the capacity utilization rate in the Turkish basic metal manufacturing industry was 75.4 percent, down from 76.6 percent recorded in September, while the capacity utilization rate in the Turkish basic metal manufacturing industry was 77.2 percent in October last year, according to the provisional data released by the Central Bank of Turkey.
Meanwhile, in October of the current year the capacity utilization rate in the manufacture of metal products, except machinery and equipment, was 72.0 percent, unchanged compared to September and down from 73 percent in October 2013.
The capacity utilization rate in Turkey's general manufacturing industry, on the other hand, was at 74.9 percent in October this year, up from the 74.4 percent recorded in September and down from 76.4 percent in October 2013.
