Patterson Pump Co has been reaffirmed as the supplier of pumps for the Permanent Canal Closures and Pumps (PCCP) project with the US Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District. The project was originally awarded in October 2012, but was challenged by unsuccessful bidders. Patterson Pump will supply pumps worth US$60 million–US$65 million over the three-year project. Jeffrey Gorman, president and CEO of Patterson Pump’s parent company Gorman-Rupp Co, said: “We are extremely proud to be the supplier of pumps for this major New Orleans project and look forward to working with PCCP Constructors and the US Army Corps of Engineers. This is a very important project for the greater New Orleans area.”
