Sanfangxiang Group has restarted a Purified terephthalic acid (PTA) plant in June 2013.
“After a two week maintenance turnaround, we have restarted the PTA plant and it is operating at 100% rates since its restart”, a company official told fibre2fashion.
He also added that the company plans to increase PTA capacity by an additional 1.2 million mt/yr next year.
Located in Jiangyin, China, the plant has a production capacity of 1.2 million mt/year.
