The UK Games Expo is now the main event that hobby game publishers think of when reaching their audience, say organisers.
The seventh annual show runs from May 24th to 26th at the Hilton Metropole, NEC Birmingham, and trade space has already been completely filled.
Next year the event for tabletop game fans could expand into an additional 2,500 square metres of space in the hotel, after a huge response from board game publishers across the globe. UK exhibitors include Coiledspring, Gen42 and A1 Comics.
"When we started out in 2007 we wanted to attract 500 people," organiser Richard Denning said.
"We actually got something like 1,200 to 1,400. Since then the event has grown about 20 per cent each year.
