Germany-based Rotocontrol has launched its new RSP high-end pharmaceutical inspection machine, RSP 440H.
The new RSP 440H machine is equipped with features including an unwind stand for rolls up to 1.2m diameter, 100% inspection system, high-speed dynamic buffer, and fully automated knife positioning system.
The machine offers offers bidirectional operating mode and capability of running production of both booklet and conventional labels.
According to the company, RSP 440H features a secure multi-lane counting system for pharmaceutical labels and a complete security system before the rewind.
Rotocontrol managing director Marco Aengenvoort said the inspection machine is based on the design of initial RSP vertical series, launched by the company few years back, with features to cater existing demand for high-level security inspection machines.
"We invited key pharmaceutical label producers from around the world to our manufacturing headquarters to evaluate the RSP 440H," Aengenvoort added.
The company will exhibit its RSP 440H machine at Labelexpo Europe 2013 to be held from 24-27 September at Brussels.
