Honest Mum to present ‘How To Turn Your Blog Idea Into A Business’.
One of the UK’s most successful bloggers will be sharing her tips on how to turn your blog into a profitable business that brings in serious cash, at the first FunFest Blogger Summit this Spring.
Vicki Psarias - A.K.A. Honest Mum - is a full-time professional blogger, award-winning filmmaker and former magazine editor. She’s also a model and mother to two young boys.
Psarias will be on hand at the inaugral event to host the presentation 'How To Turn Your Blog Idea Into A Business.'
Her parenting, lifestyle, food and beauty site, Honest Mum, boasts average monthly visits of over 80,000 and she has over 11,000 followers on Twitter.
She also runs the sister blog, Mummy’s Got Style, which pulls in over 10,000 readers a month and clients range from BareMinerals to Selfridges, Yahoo, Nova Harley and more.
“We’re delighted to have Vicki speak at FunFest,” said Kirsty Barr, MD of miPR, the team behind the event.
“Vicki is regarded as ‘blogger royalty’, so having her share her advice for other bloggers at FunFest will prove invaluable for our delegates.”
“I'm honoured to be sharing my know-how in making a career out of blogging,” added Psarias.
“Pro-blogging is an ideal career for parents of both big and small blogs - it has readdressed the inequality of the workplace for parents and the democracy of the internet means limitless possibilities and opportunities for bloggers - there's never been a more exciting time to be a blogger than now.”
Vicki has previously spoken about her blogging career at the Internet Advertising Bureau (the UK trade body for digital advertising) on behalf of Mode Media, at Cosatto HQ and at the Tots100 Blog Camp.
The FunFest Blogger Summit is a day of conference sessions, networking and brand ambassador opportunities.
Taking place on Saturday April 25th at Whittlebury Hall Hotel & Spa, it will feature educational conference sessions and masterclasses designed to give bloggers the opportunity to learn from their peers and media experts.
After a free lunch, delegates will be able to network and meet with toy and pre-school brands, all of whom are looking for new brand ambassadors.
There will be a dedicated area for children, supervised by registered, CRB-checked child-minders.
