According to data released by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), the US steel mills’ shipments totaled 7,806,319 net tons in June, falling by 3% from 8,047,024 net tons in a month ago and decreasing by 2.6% from 8,016,834 net tons in the same period of a year ago.
In the first seven months of this year, the US steel mills’ shipments amounted to 47,401,474 net tons, decreasing by 5.4% in comparison of 50,117,104 net tons in the same period of a year ago.
