Veronique Bagge Quits The European Organisation for Packaging and The Environment

The European Organisation for Packaging and the Environment’s (Europen) managing director Veronique Bagge, who was appointed seven months ago, has quit the organization.

Earlier in January, she replaced Julian Caroll as the organizations managing director in January, according to Packaging News.

The packaging industry and trade organization of Europe said in a statement that Bagge had been given the core task of reviewing its strategy and updating its procedures, which had now been achieved and membership of Europen had increased.

Bagge said that she achieved what she set out to do.

"I see many opportunities in the commercial and public affairs arena which I now intend to explore including sustainability issues such as food waste and those relating to my extensive experience in China," added Bagge.
