Wide-web flexographic printer Prestige-Pak has bought a SpectraLab on-press color measurement system from Advanced Vision Technology (AVT). The system will be positioned as an add-on module on one of two PrintVision/Jupiter Automatic Inspection Systems that were earlier installed on the company’s flexographic presses.
The ISO compliant spectrophotometer SpectraLab is ideal for the on press, in-line measurement of absolute color and density values of color critical packaging and provides a true measurement of the printed colors on virtually all flexible substrates.
AVT corporate vice president of marketing Amir Dekel said its SpectraLab will guarantee that Prestige-Pak's flexible packaging output will deliver added value to their clients.
"It is confirmation that our SpectraLab state-of-the-art technology is of the highest standards of the industry," Dekel added.
The US-based Prestige-Pak serves the flexographic printing and laminating needs of the snack food, confectionary, bakery, medical, pet food and dry goods industries.
