PCGA Would Be Opening Its Office at The Karachi Cotton Exchange

The Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association (PCGA) would be opening its office at the Karachi Cotton Exchange so as to enable the ginners to come in contact with the global ginning industry, Mr. Mahesh Kumar, the newly elected Chairman of PCGA, told reporters.   PCGA would also be establishing an office in Islamabad, which would help them in being in touch with Government authorities and the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and seek early solution to their problems, Mr. Kumar added.   He said the PCGA would soon set up a committee to recover outstanding dues from the textile sector, which runs into billions of rupees.   He urged the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) to erect separate feeders for the ginning industry, so that the ginners can continue to operate their factories during the forthcoming season.
