Firm to exhibit at Nuremberg as part of expansion plans; looking to grow portfolio.
Toy State has revealed some ambitious growth plans for 2013, as it pushes further into the European marketplace.
The firm - which manufactures licensed and highly-stylised lights and sound vehicles - will be welcoming customers to its new Hong Kong showroom in January to review its range of Road Rippers and Caterpillar products.
As part of its European expansion plans it will be exhibiting at Nuremberg in February.
Toy State is also actively looking for opportunities to enhance its portfolio by acquisition and/or partnership with other brands.
Simon Cheng, chairman of Toy State, commented: "The company has seen significant growth within the US and Asia, and expectations for Europe are high. We are investing in new production facilities to increase capacity and ensure continued attention to quality and design."
Cheng also revealed the appointment of Laibond Cheng as SVP international sales, as well as the promotion of Will Coleburn to president of global sales and marketing.
He confirmed that Robert Mann, EMEA president, will be departing the firm for a role in the nursery and infant sector, but stated that this had not affected the firm's ambitions.
