John Lewis has teamed up with the Good Toy Guide team in order to help parents keep their kids occupied over the half term holiday.
Headed up by Dr. Amanda Gummer, the group will launch this year's Good Toy Guide demo play at John Lewis on Oxford Street, London.
The team will be helping parents choose the right toys for their kids and will be on hand to answer questions on child development and play.
From 11am on Saturday, May 24th, the John Lewis toy department will include a special play zone area for the children to try out a range of outdoor and travel toys, allowing parents to observe what they engage with.
John Lewis' head buyer, Ian Ellis, said: "It's important for consumers to make informed choices about their purchases and we are passionate about empowering our customers to make decisions that are right for their own family.
"We are proud to be associated with the Good Toy Guide and believe that parents and children will really enjoy this unique experience."
