US-based coatings and industrial solutions provider PPG Industries is currently displaying its line of packaging coatings at Cannex Asia Pacific 2012 currently underway at Guangzhou, China.
Applications that use packaging coatings like monobloc aerosol cans, food cans, general cans, tubes and a variety of flexible packaging and metal ends will be showcased at the event.
According to the firm, its three-piece food and beverage can coatings come with high-performance solutions that are customized for packaging materials applied on various parts of the can, in addition to two-piece beer can coatings.
PPG vice president of packaging coatings Douglas S. Pegg said the event serves as a platform to showcase their innovative packaging coating solutions for China and other Asia Pacific countries.
"We welcome this opportunity to visit with existing customers in the region and to introduce our full line of coatings that help improve users' processes and products to potential customers in this region." added Pegg.
