Kalo Foods Plans to Open a New Gluten-Free Gourmet Bakery in Stokesdale

Kalo Foods,a US-based producer of gourmet products,plans to open a new gluten-free gourmet bakery in Stokesdale near North Carolina,US.

The plant will create 21 jobs,and the average salary for the newly hired staff will be about$33,524,the company said.

The facility will receive a grant of about$70,000 from the One North Carolina Fund-a state program which seeks to expand jobs in value-added industries in North Carolina.

Kalo Foods president Michael Cusato said the decision to open the new facility in North Carolina was made based on the business incentives provided by the state and Rockingham County.

Kalo Foods,established in 2011,produces gluten-free gourmet food products and mixes.The product range also include artisan pizzas and pie crusts,cookies,brownies and mixes sold under the Geralbadi and Kalo brands.
