Polish packaging printer Engas has ordered for a third Rapida 105 from KBA, which will be a six-color version with coater.
The system, which is scheduled for installation in a new production hall in September, will also have an extended delivery, a board-handling capability, automatic plate changing, ErgoTronic ACR register measurement and DensiTronic Professional color control.
According to KBA, an optional QualiTronic inline color control as well as a cold-foil module can also be added to the system, later.
Engas currently has two six-color Rapida 105 presses, and the third press will have a maximum rated output of 16,000sph, the company added.
The company makes packaging for the food-processing and household goods industries and is installing the new press to improve its firepower and advance its technology standard.
