In June this year, China's finished steel export volume amounted to 5.29 million mt, up 1.34 percent, while in the first half of the current year Chinese finished steel exports totaled 30.69 million mt, up 12.8 percent, both year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities.
Meanwhile, China imported 1.08 million mt of finished steel in June this year, down 1.8 percent, while in the first six months its finished steel import volume amounted to 6.83 million mt, down 1.8 percent, both on year-on-year basis.
