Currys has knocked 50% off the price of the Chromecast Audio, bringing the price down to just £15.
For the unaware, the Chromecast Audio basically makes your existing speakers “smart”. It plugs into a standard 3.5mm audio jack, and lets you stream music over Wi-Fi, just like a Sonos system – but way cheaper.
The Google Chromecast Audio features a stereo analogue output, an optical digital output, a Micro USB mains adapter, support for 802.11ac Wi-Fi, support for 24-bit/97khz HD audio, and support for Android, iOS, Windows, MacOS and Chrome OS.

We’re always happy to recommend the Google Chromecast Audio when it’s discounted, especially with such a massive saving as is this case with today’s deal. You can effectively get two for the price of one, which is great news if you’re looking to set up a multi-room home speaker system, but don’t want to shell out for expensive Sonos kit.
