The Planning Deputy Has Reserves of The Fund Amounted to USD 43 Billion

MNA reported that the Planning Deputy for National Development Fund has reserves of the fund amounted to USD 43 billion with USD 7.7 billion allocated to 25 projects in oil and petrochemical industry.

Mr Mohammed Dodangeh member of Board of Directors of the NDF said that it is predicted that a credit line worth of USD 10 billion will be opened to finance the petrochemical industries projects and that the return of capital in petrochemical sector is short time, making it economically justifiable.

Mr Behrouz Alishiri deputy minister of Economic Affairs and Finance said that since 2007, more than USD 1.38 billion has been invested by foreign agents in petrochemical sector and that petrochemical sector accounted for 5% of total foreign investments in the country.
