Ukraine’s exports of steel products totaled 2.183 million tons in the first four months of this year, rising by 7.9% from a month ago, according to data released by the metal trading enterprise Ukrainian Mining and Metallurgical Company (UGMK).
In April, the country imported 182,500 tons of steel products, soaring by 62.4% from a month ago.
In the first four months of this year, Ukraine’s exports of steel products amounted to 8.063 million tons, increasing by 7.1% year on year.
In the given period of time, the country’s imports of steel products were at 487,500 tons, falling by 10.7% year on year.
