France's Motor Vehicle Output Increased by 7.4 Percent, While Automobile Production Rose

According to the statistics released by France's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE), the country's manufacturing production in November 2012 decreased slightly by 0.2 percent compared to October, after a month-on-month decrease of 0.8 percent recorded in October.

In November, France's production in manufacture of basic metals and fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment, fell by 1.2 percent, the production of the motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers industry increased by 7.4 percent, while automobile production rose slightly by 0.3 percent, all compared to the previous month. In November, the output of the construction industry in France fell 0.5 percent month on month.
