DuPont Advanced Printing has expanded its DuPont Cyrel Easy plate platform with the introduction of Cyrel Easy EPC for corrugated printing.
Developed for the post-print corrugated printers, the Cyrel Easy EPC is a soft digital plate featuring a built-in flat top dot.
DuPont Advanced Printing North America corrugated segment manager Bob Hannum said: “We’re excited to extend our Cyrel Easy plate portfolio to include Cyrel Easy EPC for corrugated tradeshops and printers.
“Customers are simplifying their plate making workflow and seeing improved print results, particularly, a reduction in fluting.”
Designed to delivers the high quality image reproduction, the Cyrel Easy EPC can reduce the fluting effect when printing on a wide variety of corrugated boards.
Printron sales vice president Jack Fulton said: “With DuPont Cyrel Easy EPC plates, we are seeing a simplified, seamless integration into our current plateroom workflow and excellent print performance.”
The built-in flat top digital dots of the DuPont Cyrel Easy plates allows for simpler prepress process which would result in increased productivity and consistency, the company said.
DuPont Advanced Printing also offers DuPont Cyrel flexographic plate-making systems in digital and conventional formats including the new Cyrel Easy photopolymer plates, Cyrel Fast plates and processing equipment.
In May, DuPont said it would launch new DuPont Artistri ink for the direct-to-garment (DTG) and roll-to-roll (RTR) printing sectors.
