Solar-grade crystalline silicon wafer maker Green Energy Technology (GET) on February 3 reported consolidated revenues of NT$1.538 billion (US$48.6 million) for January, increasing 16.68% on month and 14.71% on year.
GET has utilized over 95% of its production capacity and seen strong demand for high-efficiency solar-grade wafers, the company said. GET plans to market high-efficiency solar-grade wafers in the US and Asia through cooperation with Taiwan-based crystalline silicon solar cell makers, and Gintung Energy, its joint-venture PV module maker, the company indicated.
GET said it plans to expand production capacity for high-efficiency solar-grade wafers to increase its global market share.
