Swedish vacuum technology supplier Piab has introduced its new conveyor line piFLOWp for the food and pharmaceutical industries.
The piFLOWp has been designed according to USDA and GMP guidelines and vacuum generated by it is produced in the energy efficient way by using COAX cartridges allowing for the design of a flexible, modular vacuum system.
According to the company, a vacuum system based on COAX technology can provide customers with better vacuum flow, while reducing energy consumption.
Piab Material Handling Division vice president Josef Ramsl v said the new piFLOWp design makes it possible to tailor the conveyor and get instant access to technical data, drawings and CAD files simultaneously.
"This makes the integration work much easier as you can change your configuration parameters online and see if the conveyor system fits into your application, instead of waiting weeks for a new drawing from the supplier," Ramsl v said.
