With the next generation of soft shells in mind, ConceptIII has joined forces with the Dry-Tex company from Mainland China.
A specialist in ultra lightweight laminations, together, it is presenting the market a nearly endless array of creative two-and three-layer performance textile “packages”.
Besides their technical virtues, the key to these new collaborations is their amazing suppleness and light weight.
The Dry-Tex facilities are located in Shaoxing near Shanghai. Shaoxing is a well-established textile manufacturing area. In order to create highly functional, unique and distinctive multi-layer fabrics, one can choose from a multitude of locally sourced textiles and technologies, supply own, specify others or develop new ones with its help.
In addition to innumerable choices of “ingredients”, another Dry-Tex asset is its speed. Dry-Tex is able to quickly turn ideas into exceptional new textiles, accelerating the timing of fabric sourcing, lab dips and sampling.
“I would describe Dry-Tex as aggressive, technically driven, nimble and price competitive,” says Chris Parkes, Concept III partner and director of sales, “Everyone who works with them is impressed. They do what they say they are going to do and they do it quickly.”
