US-based specialty pharmaceutical firm Upsher-Smith Laboratories will launch the generic version of its Morphine Sulfate extended-release (ER) capsules, CII on 4 September 2013.
Morphine Sulfate ER Capsules, CII are currently available in dosages of 10mg, 20mg, 30mg, 50mg, 60mg, 80mg, and 100mg. The generic version Morphine Sulfate ER capsules will be available in 10mg dosage strength.
Upsher-Smith's generic drug segment provides affordable pharmaceutical products to patients.
The company currently offers both branded and generic therapeutic solutions to address patients' needs ranging in scope from women's health to cardiology. In addition, it is focusing on developing therapies for people with epilepsy.
Currently, three of the company's neurology products are in clinical development.
